Happy Thursday from Winnie, my aunt Pat’s pup.

Happy Thursday, Toasters. Flagler Beach belongs to the surfers this weekend, with the 24th Tommy Tant Memorial Surf Classic running Friday through Sunday by the pier, a Saturday tow-in air show, and a Sunday paddle-out anyone can join. Thursday is the last Beats & Eats of the year at Town Center, and Saturday night the Golden Lion throws its Full Moon Party just up A1A. Heads-up: the weekend looks wet and windy, with storms likely Saturday afternoon into the night and showers Sunday, so check each event’s page or social before you head out.

📅 The Weekend

🎵 Catch the last Beats & Eats of the year in Palm Coast — The Stage at Town Center, 1500 Central Ave. (Palm Coast) — Thursday @ 6–8 p.m.
Chillula plays, it's free, and the food trucks, vendors, yard games, and beer and wine are all there, benefiting SMART. Bring a chair. This is the final date on the 2026 schedule, so if you've been meaning to go, this is it.

🏄 Watch the Tommy Tant Memorial Surf Classic at Flagler Beach — Just south of the Flagler Beach Pier (Flagler Beach) — Friday, Saturday & Sunday @ about 7 a.m.–4 p.m.
Free to watch. The 24th year of the contest started in memory of local surfer Tommy Tant, and proceeds go to student scholarships and grants for local pro surfers. Friday at 7 p.m. there's a kickoff party at Craeft Surf Studio (404 S. Ocean Shore Blvd., across from the pier) with an acoustic set from Timing Belt and a live and silent auction; they're closing the lot, so come early. Saturday, Flagler Beach pros Robbie McCormick and Ryan Huckabee get towed into waves for an aerial show, and Sunday's midday memorial paddle-out is open to everyone. Pull up a chair on the sand.

🎃 Hear spooky Broadway songs at City Repertory Theatre in Palm Coast — CRT, 160 Cypress Point Pkwy, Suite B207 (Palm Coast) — Friday & Saturday @ 7:30 p.m.
"An Evening With… Something Spooky" is a small-room Halloween concert with songs from Beetlejuice, Wicked, Sweeney Todd, Rocky Horror, and more, with live piano and drums. $25 adults, $15 students. Get tickets from CRT.

🐕 Bring your dog to the Harvest Howl at Good Times Dog Bar — Good Times Dog Bar, 3468 N. Ocean Shore Blvd. (Flagler Beach) — Saturday @ 5–7 p.m.
