Happy Thursday, Toasters. Halloween lands on a Saturday this year, and Flagler Beach is going all in, from the morning market and a costumed scavenger hunt downtown to a bar crawl that runs till 2. If you've got little ghouls, Friday's Trunk or Treat at Wickline Park and the free Hall of Terror in Palm Coast are your nights. And clocks fall back early Sunday, so you get an extra hour to recover before Music in the Gardens.
📅 The Weekend |
🏚️ Walk through the free Haunted Cabin in Bunnell — G.W. Carver Community Center (Bunnell) — Thursday @ 4–6 p.m.
A walk-through haunt in "The Cabin in the Woods" (ages 11+ recommended), while the rest of the center runs carnival games, music, and prizes for the little ones. Free.
🎃 Trick-or-treat at the Flagler Beach Trunk or Treat — Wickline Park (Flagler Beach) — Friday @ 5–7 p.m.
The city's own trick-or-treat in the park, one night early so the kids get two runs at it. Free.
🧟 Brave the Hall of Terror: Universal Monsters — Palm Coast Fire Station 21, 9 Corporate Dr. (Palm Coast) — Friday & Saturday @ 7–10 p.m.
The fire department's haunted house, free and all ages, with food trucks both nights. There's a low-sensory hour from 6–7 if your crew scares easy.
🛒 Wander the Halloween market at Flagler Beach, then join the scavenger hunt — In front of City Hall, S. 2nd St. (Flagler Beach) — Saturday @ 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
Grab coffee and 30+ local vendors, then pick up a Flagler Strong Halloween Scavenger Hunt clue packet at the market from 10–11. The hunt starts at noon, sends costumed teams to shops around town for stamps and treats, and wraps at Tortugas with prizes. Proceeds go to Christmas Come True.
🐶 Bring your dog to the Good Times Dog Bar Halloween Party — Good Times Dog Bar (Flagler Beach) — Saturday @ 11 a.m.–6 p.m.
Games all day for you and your dog, a mobile vet and groomer on site, and food from Jersey Joe's and Dexter & Angie's Wings. Register your pup online before you go.
👻 Lil Monster Mash at the farm — Florida Agricultural Museum (Palm Coast) — Saturday @ 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
Old-fashioned games, a pumpkin patch, a candy cannon, and a costume contest. $5 a person, 3 and under free. The easy pick for toddlers.
🦁 Costume party at the Golden Lion — Golden Lion Cafe (Flagler Beach) — Saturday @ 6:30–10:30 p.m.
Another Day in Paradise Band on the oceanfront deck, a costume parade, and gift cards for best single and best duo or group. This is the town's default Halloween party. Free to get in.
🍺 Crawl A1A with Boos & Brews (21+) — Starts at Break-Awayz (Flagler Beach) — Saturday @ 8 p.m.–2 a.m.
Check in at Break-Awayz from 8:30–9:30, where it's also their 13th anniversary party and local Micah Kimball is spinning a Halloween DJ set from 8–11. Then hit Chill Bar at the Compass and Poor Walt (cash only) with your wristband.
🎸 Music in the Gardens with the Brothers Futch — Washington Oaks Gardens State Park (Palm Coast) — Sunday @ 1–4 p.m.
Southern rock, country, and blues on the lawn, with food trucks and a kids zone. Bring a blanket. $5 per car. You got an extra hour of sleep, so no excuses.
