Happy Thursday from Riley.
Happy Thursday, Toasters. Friday splits two ways — Food Truck Friday on the Farm in Palm Coast, then free Flagler Flicks (Hamilton, as listed) on the grass at Veterans Park. Saturday is Flagler Beach all day: market, then Steel Panman into Raleigh & Aaron at the Lion. Scroll on to plan your weekend.
📅 The Weekend |
🎸 Catch Walt Kulwicki at the Golden Lion — 501 N. Oceanshore Blvd., Flagler Beach — Thursday 4:30–7:30 p.m. Early A1A patio set. Best Flagler Beach Thursday option when The Stage is dark.
🚜 Hit Food Truck Friday on the Farm — Florida Agricultural Legacy Learning Center, 7900 Old Kings Rd N., Palm Coast — Friday 5–9 p.m. Free parking, free admission, pet friendly. Cool Beans Barbeque, DJ Dave, Bingo with a Beat, line dancing with Kit at 7:30, kids zone, artisan vendors, wine & beer. Palm Coast’s real Friday hang when Beats & Eats is off.
🎬 Grab a blanket for Flagler Flicks — Veterans Park, 105 S. 2nd St., Flagler Beach — Friday 8 p.m. Free outdoor movie night. Fun 4 Auggie lists Hamilton — confirm on the city’s Facebook if you want a hard lock before you pack the cooler.
🛒 Wander the Flagler Beach Saturday market — South 2nd at South Central (City Hall) — Saturday 9 a.m.–1 p.m. Free. Produce and vendors a block off A1A; walk to the pier or straight to the Lion.
🥁 Stay for Steel Panman + Raleigh & Aaron at the Lion — Flagler Beach — Saturday 1–4 p.m. (Evan “Steel Panman”) and 5:30–9:30 p.m. (Raleigh & Aaron Lightnin). All-day A1A music without leaving town. (No Gamble Jam this Saturday — next is Sep 26.)
🛒 Hit the European Village Sunday market — 101 Palm Harbor Pkwy, Palm Coast — Sunday 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Free, rain or shine. Closest thing Palm Coast has to a weekly Sunday hang — vendors plus Village restaurants already open.
🎸 Linger on the Lion patio Sunday — Flagler Beach — Sunday — Bad Endings Duo 12:30–4:30 p.m., then Rob Peck & Kat Archer 5:30–8:30 p.m. Beachside afternoon into duo evening. No Grateful Sunday branding this week.
🎨 Make a coastal resin piece at GOLA — Gallery of Local Art, 208 S. Central Ave., Flagler Beach — Sunday 1–3 p.m. About $65. Instructor Sheri Dixson; 8×10 farmhouse-frame coastal piece, resin finish applied after, pickup next day. Space limited — soft-confirm tickets before you count on a seat.
🍽️ Restaurant News |
🍨 Scoop Alotta Gelato at the Golden Lion — 501 N. Oceanshore Blvd., Flagler Beach. Still open on the A1A pat/io. Easy dessert after any Lion set this weekend.
🍔 Slide into Johnny D’s Beach Bar & Grill — 319 Moody Blvd., Flagler Beach. Local bar-and-grill energy right as you come over the bridge — pizza, pub bites, late kitchen. Flagler Beach regulars already know; if you don’t, this is your intro.
☕ Hit Ragga Surf Cafe — Marineland Dolphin Adventure, 9600 Oceanshore Blvd. Tue–Sun 7 a.m.–2 p.m. My personal favorite breakfast. The vibes are awesome. Highly recommend.
🍩 Grab Swillerbees Craft Donuts — Flagler Beach (205 N. Central) and Palm Coast (85 Cypress Point Pkwy). Handmade donuts every morning, doors at 6 a.m. Grab a box before the beach — this is the local morning move.
🍕 Catch Aperitivo Hour at FARO Beachside Eatery — 311 N. Oceanshore Blvd., Flagler Beach. Roman pizza al taglio; weekdays 3–5 p.m. Walkable A1A pizza before Flicks or a Lion set.
